The Fastest Way to Get Gil in "FF XII"
In "Final Fantasy XII" ("FFXII"), gil is not obtained in the same was as it is in the other Final Fantasy games. In most FF games, gil is obtained after fighting monsters who will drop gil for you to pick up. However, in "FFXII," instead, monsters drop something called "loot" which is then sold at any store in the game for gil. You can get loot fast by fighting certain monsters that drop expensive loot that you can sell for massive amounts of money.

Go to any teleport crystal in the game. These are located throughout the world in key locations, such as Nalbina Fortress, Rabinsatre and the Nam-Yensa Sandsea.

Click "X" or "A" when standing next to one and select "Teleport."

Choose the "Nam Yensa Sandsea."

Walk to the northernmost part of the sandsea to find the creatures called the "Bagoyles."

Kill all of the Bagoyles in the area for them to drop at least one "Bent Staff" each. Bent staffs can be sold for 1,300 gil per piece. As soon as you kill all the Bagoyles, you can leave and reenter the area to kill an infinite amount of them.
