How to Get Your 0.0.0.0. IP Address
When you use the ipconfig command on Microsoft Windows 7 to check the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your network connection, you may get 0.0.0.0. as the result. This primarily occurs if your Internet connection is not working or if the network cable is not properly connected to your computer. If neither of these is the case then the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) service required for the network to function may not be enabled. Enabling the DHCP service will set the problem right.
