How to Remove Craigslist Posts
Craigslist does not have a way for people who post advertisements to mark an item as sold. Therefore, as long as an item is listed, the seller may continue to receive emails from potential buyers even after a buyer has been found. If you have sold the item that you posted on Craigslist, delete the post to stop receiving messages from interested buyers.

Navigate in your Web browser to Craigslist.org, and click the "My Account" link in the upper-left corner of the page.

Type the email address and password associated with your Craigslist account to log in and view your account home screen. The bottom half of the window displays your active Craigslist posts.

Click the "Manage" link next to the post that you want to delete.

Tips & Warnings
You can post advertisements in some areas of Craigslist without having an account. If you did not create a Craigslist account when posting an advertisement, open the email that Craigslist sent when you first created the post. Click the link contained within the email to edit the post, and then click "Delete this Posting." Navigate to the "Resend Posting" page on Craigslist and enter your email address if you no longer have the confirmation email for the post.
