How to Save Files As PDFs in Firefox

The Mozilla Firefox web browser hosts a number of tools, called add-ons or extensions, to customize your browsing experience. There are thousands of applications you can install to your set of Firefox tools, including add-ons for saving files or web pages to PDF format. Installation requires searching Firefox's add-ons webpage using keywords and choosing the application that is right for you. It is recommended you only download add-ons from authors you trust or who have high ratings to protect yourself against malicious software.

Instructions

1. Open Mozilla Firefox. Click the Tools tab at the top of the screen and select "Add-ons" to enter the Add-ons Manager window.

2. Click the "Get Add-ons" panel. Type keywords like "PDF" into Firefox's add-on search engine. Reveal more about a specific add-on by clicking its name or the "More" button.

3. Choose a PDF add-on and click the "Add to Firefox" button. Wait for the add-on to download. Click "Install" when the download is finished and restart Firefox to activate your add-on.
