How to Hide the Title Bar in Internet Explorer? thumbnail
The title bar in Internet Explorer tells you what site you are viewing.

As you browse the Internet with Internet Explorer, the title bar displays information about the Web pages you are viewing. The title bar tells you the URL of the website you are currently viewing, the tabs you have open and the menu options for the browser. However, if you want to see more of the website at a time, you can hide the title bar to allow more space for Web viewing. Once you hide the title bar, you can reinstate it at any time.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Internet Explorer from your desktop or the Start menu.

    • 2

Press the "F11" key to hide the title bar at the top of the screen. This puts you into full-screen mode.

    • 3

Hover the mouse near the top of the screen to temporarily drop down the title bar so you can switch tabs or enter a new Web address.

    • 4

Press "F11" when you want to reinstate the title bar.
