How to Get a Picture From Facebook & Put it Into Your Documents thumbnail
You can save Facebook pictures to your computer.

You may see a picture in your friend's Facebook album that you wish you had in in your own documents. Maybe you didn't have a camera at a particular event that you attended, or maybe a friend took a picture of you at a sporting event in which you competed. Asking your friend to send you a copy of this picture may be slow or unreliable. Instead, you can get the picture from Facebook and save it to your documents folder on your computer.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the Facebook picture that you want to save to your documents. This may be in a friend's photo gallery, one of her profile pictures or posted on her Wall. Click the picture to view it.

    • 2

Scroll down to the information below the picture. This may include a description of the picture and any comments on the picture.

    • 3

Click the "Download" option on the left side of the section below the picture. If you have the option of downloading it to your "My Documents" folder, do so.

    • 4

Open the downloaded picture in the program of your choice if you did not have the option of downloading it to your "My Documents" folder. Click "File," then "Save As," then "File," then "Make a Copy" or something similar. Go to your "My Documents" folder in the window that appears, then click "Save."
