How to Install Roadkill in Maya
Roadkill is a standalone application that meshes smoothly with Maya to provide you with high-speed accurate high polygon 3D mesh unwrapping for texture mapping purposes. While installation of the file is a simple matter of downloading and extracting the setup files, Maya itself needs to be set up in order to use Roadkill as a plugin. Once the settings are in place, the unwrapper works seamlessly within Maya, with the unwrapping process performed by Readkill to create a nice flat surface for texturing according to your modeling needs.
