How to Turn Off a Cover Page on Workcenter 7428

The cover (also known as a banner or separator) page can negatively contribute to the total cost of ownership of your Workcentre 7428. Originally, the banner page was used to identify the originator of the job, or to separate different jobs. Most of the newer multifunction copiers now hold basic accounting and job offset features which makes the banner page obsolete for the most part.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button on your PC and locate and click on "Devices and Printers."

2. Locate the icon that represents the Workcentre 7428 and right-click it, select and click "Device Properties."

3. Locate and click on the "Advanced" tab.

4. Locate and click on the "Printing Defaults" button.

5. Locate and click on the "Advanced" tab.

6. Locate the "Paper Output" section, and click on the "+" icon to expand the options.

7. Click on "Banner Page" and then select disabled.

8. Click the "Apply" button and then click the "OK" button. Click the "x" in the upper right corner to exit the window.
