How to Launch Outlook Calendar
Although the email component of Microsoft Office may get the most attention, Outlook's electronic calendar brings some hidden and not-so-hidden benefits to the table. With functionality that includes setting pop-up on-screen reminders, allowing your calendar to be shared with other Outlook users and seeing their schedules, scheduling appointments and color coding, the Outlook calendar may become something you turn to daily.

Open Microsoft Outlook.

Click the "Calendar" option in the bottom-left corner of the work area. The calendar is launched, but it takes on the appearance of the default or last-used settings.

Change the calendar's appearance using the buttons running across the ribbon at the top of the page. For example, for the calendar to launch in full month view the next time you open it, click the "Month" button.
