How to Open a Microsoft Word Document in Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Word is a word-processing program that allows you to create and save document files. Mozilla Firefox is a Web browser that opens and interprets Web pages and Internet applications. To open a Microsoft Word document in Mozilla Firefox, save the Word document as a Web page with an .htm or .html file extension. Because the .htm and .html file extensions indicate the file is an HTML file, Firefox is able to open the document as a Web page file.
