FFmpeg is a command-line video conversion program. Using text commands you can convert between literally dozens of video and audio formats. With a single-line command, you can turn your 3GP video into an AVI. Note that converting among video formats, with FFmpeg or any other program, produces a minimal loss in quality.
Enter the following into the FFmpeg command window:
ffmpeg -i VIDEO.3gp -f avi -vcodec xvid -acodec mp3 -ar 22050 convertedfile.avi.
Replace "VIDEO" with the name of the 3GP file.
Hit "Enter." Wait for the "Done" message to appear.Your AVI video appears in the same folder as the 3GP under the name "convertedfile.avi." You can select the name in Windows Explorer to change it.
