How to Screenshot on the iPad

It's easy to take screenshots with your iPad.

A screenshot is an easy way to take a picture of whatever is currently on your iPad's screen. For example, use screenshots to capture error messages and tutorial photos. After you take your screenshot, the image is then sent to your "Photos" application. The process of taking a screenshot is quick and only requires pressing two iPad buttons at the same time.

Instructions

1. Open up the screen where you want to take a screenshot.

2. Press and hold the circular "Home" button at the bottom of your iPad.

3. Press the "Sleep/Wake" button quickly while holding the "Home" button. Your screen flashes and makes a shutter sound. The image is sent to your "Photos" application.
