The State of Alabama issues electronic benefit cards (EBT) to residents that qualify for government food assistance programs. Each month you are given a pre-set limit of food assistance; the funds are deposited onto your EBT card by the state on a specified date each month. You may check your account balance or transaction history at any time by creating an account on the EBT website. To use your account you must have a Personal Identification Number (PIN), which you will need to create.
Call the Alabama EBT customer service phone number at 877-391-4757 to create or change your PIN.
Follow the phone prompts, entering the correct information when required, until you reach the option to create your PIN.
Enter the four digits you wish to become your new PIN. Re-enter your new PIN as you are instructed. Your new PIN is available to use immediately.
Go to ebtEDGE.com to login to your account to create or change a PIN. Click on the “More Information” link under “EBT Cardholders.”
Enter the 16-digit card number on the front of your EBT card and click “Login.” Follow the prompts to create or change your PIN and choose a new four digit number to serve as your PIN from this point on.
Confirm your new PIN by entering it a second time and clicking “Confirm.”
