How to Keep a Web Page Alive & Refreshed in Firefox
Although some websites use settings that keep content refreshed regularly, even if the viewer does nothing, others can sit forever, growing more stale by the minute. You can set any page you view in Firefox to refresh automatically at the interval you choose; no need to press the refresh button or F5 to reload to see if there's been an update.
Instructions

1
Go to the page that you want to keep refreshed.
-
2
Right-click on any blank spot on the page, avoiding links or images. Plain text works as well, but links and images have context-specific option in their right-click menus.
-
-
3
Select "Reload every" and click "Enable." The "Enable" choice may include a time interval, such as "Enable: 15 seconds."
-
4
Right-click again on a blank spot and select "Reload every."
-
5
Select a preset time interval -- five seconds is the most frequent -- or click "Custom" to program a time in minutes and seconds.
