But making your own inexpensive hair removal wax substance allows you to inexpensively clean-up your eyebrows at home.   • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • Wire whisk
  • Double boiler
  • 2 tbsp. beeswax

      Drop one egg white and 2 tbsp. honey into a bowl. Whisk the two together until blended well.

      Fill the bottom portion of a double boiler with 2 inches of water. Bring the water to a boil, then place the top part of the double boiler over the bottom part.

      Melt 2 tbsp. beeswax in the double boiler, stirring frequently. Remove the beeswax from the heat source as soon as it melts. Allow the wax to cool for 1 minute.

      Pour the melted beeswax into the egg white and honey mixture; stir the three ingredients together. Transfer the wax substance to a plastic container. Allow it to cool so the wax is still warm and soft, but not too hot for the skin. Smooth the wax over unwanted eyebrow hairs, smooth a cotton gauze strip over the wax, then pull it off in one swift motion, moving in the direction of hair growth.

      Place the honey mixture into a plastic container. Put it in the refrigerator long enough to cool the mixture until it's just warm and thickens.

      Apply the wax-like paste to unwanted hair along your eyebrows. Cover the wax with a strip of cotton gauze and smooth the gauze over the honey wax. Grasp the edge of the gauze strip and quickly remove the gauze and honey wax by pulling the strip off in the direction of hair growth.

  • Store leftover homemade eyebrow wax in the refrigerator. Warm the solution in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds before using.
