How to Change the Trackback Ping Default on WordPress
WordPress has features that allow it to automatically notify other blog owners when you reference their blogs in a post. Likewise, when another blog owner references your blog, the reference appears as a comment on the referenced post on your website, with a link to the post referencing it. If you do not want your post to contain comments that link to other websites and do not want to notify other websites when you reference them, you can disable both of these functions in the WordPress dashboard.
