How to Use More Than One Computer on the Same Phone Line
Windows offers Internet Connection Sharing (ICS), which allows you to use multiple computers on one dial-up connection. The modem on the first computer is shared to the second computer, so the second computer has access to the Internet without the need for a second phone line. The modem also automatically dials whenever either computer attempts to access the Internet.

Right-click the modem you use to dial up to the Internet. Select "Properties." If you are not logged in as an administrator, type the administrator password in the opened window and click "OK." The "Properties" window for the modem is shown.
