How to Draw a Wild Boar
Similar to the pig in appearance, the wild boar is a much more vigilant and aggressive creature. The snout and head are much more slender than a typical hog. An adult boar can grow to 150 to 250 pounds. Like the whitetail deer, boars are among the most popular game animals in North America. Drawing a boar from a reference photo is fun and relatively easy.

Add texture to the boar's body. Add some foreground and background features including grass, bushes and trees.

Pick a point for the sunlight source. Reflect highlight in certain areas on the animal, its eyes and background.
-
8
Shade the wild boar with either the pen or the pencil. Sign and date your work.
