Buy hair growth inhibitor spray. There are many different brands of sprays and lotions available at your local drugstore or beauty supply shop. Be sure to contact your dermatologist before using the product, to ensure that it is safe to use, especially if you suffer from sensitive skin or skin disorders.

Put a few dime-sized spots of inhibitor lotion and apply it to your legs. If you are using spray apply a thin layer of the spray to the entire leg area. This should be done about ten minutes after waxing is completed. Allow the lotion or spray to air dry completely, before putting clothes on.

Visit your cosmetologist. Discuss using laser or electrolysis treatments to keep unwanted hair from growing back on the legs. The laser treatments are best suited for individuals who have fair skin and dark brown to black hair. Electrolysis can be used by individuals of all skin color types and hair colors.

Agree to six treatments of the laser or electrolysis treatments. Each treatment will be about two months apart.
