How to Justify Text in Illustrator


Adobe Illustrator is a design program that is part of the Adobe design suite. In addition to Illustrator, the design suite also includes programs like Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver. If you have entered a paragraph or even a few words of text into Illustrator and you want to justify the text, you can do so by using Illustrator's tools.

  • Open Adobe Illustrator and click "File" and "Open" to locate the Illustrator file that includes text you want to justify. Double-click the file to open it.

  • Click your cursor inside the text box that you want to justify.

  • Click your cursor on the icon that represents left justification, right justification or centered at the top of the "Paragraph" panel.

  • Press "Ctrl" and "S" to save the document.
