Google is an Internet search engine that first went online in 1998. Google offers an email service, Gmail, as well as owns and runs other websites, including YouTube. Google users can create an account on the website that allows them to create a profile and connect the account with all of their other personal Internet accounts allowing for easy access when visiting multiple websites.
Open your computer's Internet browser and visit the Google website (see References). Click on "Sign in" near the upper right corner of the page. If you don't have a current Google account, click on "Create an account now" and follow the instructions given to create an account.
Enter your personal email address and password underneath the heading "Sign in with your Google account." Use your mouse to click and place a check mark into the box next to "Stay signed in" to remain signed in to your Google account indefinitely and then click "Sign in." You are now logged in to Google and will be redirected back to the Google home page.
Click on your email address in the top right corner. Scroll down to "Account settings" to be taken to your account page. Click on "View and manage your accounts from other services" and then on "Connect an account" to connect your Google account with other accounts you may have on the Internet, such as with Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo and Flickr. If you connect your Google account with the others you will then stay logged in to them all through your Google account.
