Connect iPhone With Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Device

Connecting your iPhone with a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth device helps you to communicate hands-free. When the two devices connect, a secure connection is established that allows for the exchange of data including voice communication. After establishing the connection, you do not need to perform additional programming to use the Sony Ericsson device with your iPhone.

  • Turn on the Sony Ericsson Bluetooth device. Press the "Volume Up" and "Volume Down" buttons at the same time to place the device in pairing mode. Release the buttons when the LED light alternately flashes red and green.

  • Press the "Home" button on the iPhone and tap "Settings." Tap "General" and then tap "Bluetooth."

  • Tap the field next to "Bluetooth" to turn on the feature. The phone automatically searches for Bluetooth-enabled devices in range. The headset must be within 3 feet of the phone. The Sony Ericsson Bluetooth device will be on the list of devices found by your iPhone.

  • Enter the passkey when prompted and tap "Save." The passkey comes with the Bluetooth headset's original packaging.
