Launch your computer's Web browser, and go to the Steinberg eLicenser website. Download and install the latest edition of the eLicenser Control Center (eLCC) software for your Windows or Mac operating system.

Launch the Steinberg Cubase eLicenser Control Center software application on your computer once it's installed.

Copy the SOFT eLicenser Control Center number from your software once the program starts initially.

Click the available action designated for you to create a Steinberg user account. Enter the required personal information in the corresponding text fields to complete the account creation process.

Hit the "Submit" action once you've filled in all of the required text fields. A confirmation URL will be sent to the email address you provided as a form of identity verification to confirm and complete your account registration.

Access the email account for the email address you provided. Open the email from Steinberg eLicenser Support. Click the confirmation URL hyperlink in the email to verify your identity and access your account. A pop-up window will open so you can log into your account.

Enter the user-name and password you chose for the Cubase 5 eLicenser user account. Then, click "Log-In."

Select the "Activation and Reactivation" hyperlink action on your user account menu.

Provide the SOFT eLicenser number you copied after running the eLicenser for the first time.

Select your computer's hardware manufacturer, and provide the name of your Steinberg product, Cubase 5.
