How to Stick on Minx Nails
Minx nails are colored nail coverings that are applied with heat. Minx nails come in a wide variety of shining designs and will not crack or chip like standard false fingernails. Minx nails come in over 100 styles, can be ordered in custom designs and were featured on the cover of NAILS Magazine in January 2008. Minx nails can be applied by a professional manicurist or at home, provided that you have the proper equipment. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Place the Minx nails under a UVA heat lamp or blow dryer until they are soft and flexible.

2
Peel the first nail from the plastic backing sheet. Hold the nail under the heat lamp. Align the curved end up to the cuticle without touching it.

3
Stick the edge to the fingernail, pull slightly and lay the Minx nail covering down over the finger. Tuck the excess Minx covering down under the edge of the nail.
-
4
Smooth out the nail covering. Start at the cuticle and smooth the material out with your thumb so it is smoothly adhered to the nail.
-
5
Pull the nail away from the heat and cool for 10 seconds.
-
6
File the excess wrapping off the end of the nail with a Minx glass file.
-
7
