Acquiring a domain name is easy, but keeping up with it can be challenging, especially if you have more than one. You have to remember the date each domain expires. If you purchased your domains at GoDaddy, you probably bought them at a discounted rate and don't know how much the renewal costs. You may have set your domain names to auto-renew, which means GoDaddy will automatically draft the money on your renewal date. Find out how much you will be charged for your renewal.
Sign in to your account at GoDaddy using the login boxes located at the top of the page. Your username is either your customer ID number or a name you created. If you don't remember, check emails received from GoDaddy after you signed up for your account. You will find the customer ID number listed in the email. If you don't remember your password, click the "Forgot Password" link to the right of the login boxes.
Press the "My Account" drop down arrow on the right and select "My Renewals." Scroll down to see all your domains listed, along with their expiration dates. If you are ready to renew now, check the box on the left to select the domain name. Choose the renewal length from the drop down menu on the right. Scroll down and press the "Continue" button. You will see the renewal price during check out.
If you're not ready to renew now, check the renewal price by scrolling down below the list of domains. Click the small link on the left that says "Per Year Pricing." Click the link under the "Popular Domains" section that matches your domain extension. Options are .com, .org, .net, etc.
Scroll down and look for the "Renewal" table on the right. The chart lists the price of domain renewals based on the quantity of domain names and the number of years you want to renew. Suppose you have two .com domain names and you want to renew them for two years. The price is $11.99 per domain name, per year, as of this publication. Therefore, the total cost is $47.96 before taxes.
