How to Put Double Spacing With Neo Office for the Mac

Save

Double-spacing the text in a document creates two times the normal amount of space between each horizontal line of text. Double-spaced documents are preferred in some circumstances because they are easier to read and allow more room for notes and editing marks. You have the option of changing a document to double spacing in Neo Office, an open-source suite of office applications for computers running Mac OS X.

  • Control-click anywhere within the body text of the document.

  • Scroll down to "Line Spacing" in the context menu.

  • Select "Double" from the line-spacing options. The document will change to double spacing.
