Enjoy the party without worrying about your strapless dress.

Strapless dresses allow women to show off toned shoulders during special occasions or to enjoy the freedom of hot summer days. However, it can be tricky to keep a strapless dress from slipping, revealing more than just shoulders. It is possible to keep a strapless dress in place, even while participating in an activity like dancing. This one simple trick will help to prevent embarrassing wardrobe malfuntions like popping out of the dress.

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase double-sided body tape from a department store or online website, such as Hollywood Fashion Secrets. Double-sided body tape is often located in the bra department of retail stores.

    • 2

Put on your strapless dress and adjust the top of the dress to adequately cover your breasts; or position the top on the strapless dress over the top of the strapless bra, allowing the fabric of the dress to make contact with your skin.

    • 3

Remove two strips of body tape from the package, and peel the protective paper backing from one side of each strip. Stick the strips of body tape to the top inner portion of the dress, on the left and right side of the breast. Remove the protective backing on the other side of each strip, and firmly press the dress fabric against your breasts to stick the dress to your skin.

    • 4

Stick one strip of body tape on the left and right side of the strapless dress, below each arm, for added security. Additional tape may be added to the top back portion of the dress to ensure that the dress doesn't slip at the back while dancing.
