How to Hook Up a CCTV Spy Cam
A closed circuit television (CCTV) spy cam is a video camcorder connected to a TV monitor. Closed circuit simply means the video signal is not broadcast, but is transmitted directly to a television or a recording device connected to a dedicated TV. Spy cams use either an S-video or composite video cable to connect to the TV or recorder, such as a VCR or DVR. Check the jacks on the back of your equipment to determine which cable you can use.
