How to Get AVG to Disk

AVG provides protection to your computer.

AVG is an important part of the security suite of products used by many personal and business users. Being able to reinstall it from a disk copy gives users peace of mind in the event that the unthinkable happens and their system is infected. The default setting for the installation process of AVG is usually to save the program to the system's desktop. However, if a stand-alone copy is required, this can be created at the time of download or in a separate process.

Instructions

Download and Save AVG to Disk

1. Navigate to the AVG download page.

2. Select by name the AVG version you have purchased.

3. Select "Download."

4. Save the file to your writable drive where your disk is loaded.

5. Open the writable drive to confirm a successful download.

6. Remove the disk once the process is complete.

Burn AVG to Disk

1. Load the writable disk.

2. Locate the AVG program file on your computer.

3. Drag and drop the file onto the writable disk drive. The files will copy automatically.

4. Open the writable drive to confirm a successful transfer.

5. Remove the disk once the process is complete.

• Load the file onto the computer to enable installation.
