The NetSpend Prepaid Visa debit card is unlike regular debit cards that tie in to your bank checking or savings account. Instead, the NetSpend Visa is a prepaid card that you can load with cash. This card is a good to have if you do not have a bank account or if you just want to use a separate account for shopping at the mall, buying gas or grocery shopping. When your card is low on funds or when you have spent all of the money on your card, you can reload your card by visiting a nearby ACE location.
Visit the official NetSpend website at netspend.com, go to the "How does it work?" section and click the "NetSpend Reload Center" link.
Click the "Find retail locations and get detailed instructions" link and enter your card number or username in the box provided, then click the "Continue" button. If you do not have your username or card number with you, click on "Not now, just take me to a basic list of Reload Centers."
Select your state from the "State" dropdown menu, enter your Zip code in the box provided and click the "Search" button. Scroll down the list until you find the closest ACE Cash Express location.
Visit the nearest ACE Cash Express location and bring your NetSpend Prepaid Visa card along with the cash that you would like to load on it and give it to the teller. Most reload centers charge a small fee to load your card.
