For those on the run, with no time to cook a meal, an instant cup of soup is quick and easy sustenance. Soups have been enjoyed around the world for thousands of years. Typically consisting of noodles and freeze-dried vegetables, along with a variety of spices and powdered stock, the soup is quickly reconstituted with hot water. Simple to make, a cup of soup can be created anywhere that a kettle and clean water is procured.
Things You'll Need
- Cup of instant soup
- Small plate
Pour water in to the kettle and bring it to a boil.
Peel open the top of the small cup of soup halfway.
Pour in the water until is covers the contents of the soup. Press down with the form on the contents to ensure they are completely covered.
Place the lid back down over the soup. Place the small plate over the top to seal in the steam and heat.
Leave the soup untouched for five minutes. Remove the lid completely and mix the contents around with your fork and ensure they are completely cooked.
Pour the soup in to the small bowl.
