How to Forward a GoDaddy Email Account

Email forwarding allows you to create an email address that does not have an inbox (a dedicated space to store incoming emails) but instead serves to route incoming email to another designated inbox. Email forwarding is useful for providing a long-term method for reaching you, as it can always be configured to send email to an email account that you use regularly, such as your work email. Go Daddy provides several email forwarding addresses with your domain, which can be reconfigured through your Account Management tool.

  • Visit the Account Manager of your Go Daddy account. If you are not logged in, click any of the "log in" links on the Go Daddy website and enter your username and password and then click "Secure Login."

  • Click "Email" under the "My Products" banner. This will list your account email options and any accounts that are already setup.

  • Click "Email Forwarding Accounts" located above the list of emails and then click "View All" to see the complete list of email and forwarding plans. You have a set number of emails and email forwards based on the type of account you have with Go Daddy.

  • Click "Manage Account" next to the forwarding plan you want to use and then click "Add". The fields to set up your forwarding email address will appear.

  • Enter the email address in the "Forward Address" field. This is the address that you want to use to forward messages to another address.

  • Place the email address you want messages forwarded to in the "Forward Mail to:" field. Click "OK" to save your settings.
