Transferring information from your LG enV2 can be done using the USB cable for the device. The USB connection allows you to transfer your contact list, calendar, music, and video clips. In order to establish a connection using your USB cable, you must have the PC Sync drivers installed on your computer. Once you have installed the USB drivers to your computer, you will be able to transfer files to and from your computer.

Things You'll Need

  • USB cable provided with your device
  • Navigate to the LG website and click "Support", "Product support." Click the name of your mobile service provider and scroll to and click "EnV2 VX9100."

  • Click "Download" in the "Manuals & documents" tab and the installation wizard for the LG Mobile Support Tool will begin. Be sure to follow each step of the download wizard to ensure proper installation.

  • Click "Customer support" and "Application, manual, & USB driver download" in the LGMobile Support Tool window to download the USB driver for your mobile phone. You will be required to enter your IMEI, ESN, MEID or serial number for your phone in order to download the software. You can obtain your IMEI or serial number on the back of your phone under the battery on a white sticker. Click the "Search" button to the right of the IMEI or S/N box to search for your drivers. Once you enter your phone's information, the USB driver link will appear in the File List box. Double click the name "USB Driver" and click "Download" to install the drivers on your computer.

  • Connect your USB cable to your phone and to an open USB slot on your computer after the drivers have been installed on your computer. Click "Start", "Computer" and click the drive for your LG EnV2. It will be the removable drive on your computer. You will be able to access the file on your phone and move them to your computer. To move a file from your phone to your computer, click the file and drag it to the location where you would like it saved.
