How to Find Out Which Version of IE I'm Running
Microsoft has released many versions of Internet Explorer, each of which has its own set of features and interfaces. Some Websites or plug-ins that you want to use require a specific version of Internet Explorer. Microsoft includes this version information in every copy of the browser, making it easy to see what edition of the browser is currently running on your system.

Open the Start menu on your taskbar and type "Internet Explorer" in the Search bar.
