How to Re-Size an On-Screen Keyboard

Save

The On-Screen Keyboard provided by Windows gives the user an alternative to typing on the computer's physical keyboard. However, if the screen version of the keyboard is too big or too small, you can easily re-size it using your mouse cursor. The process takes only seconds to accomplish.

  • Click on the "Start" button on the left side of the desktop taskbar.

  • Select the "All Programs" button at the bottom of the Start menu. Click on "Accessories."

  • Click on "Ease of Access" and then select the "On-Screen Keyboard" program.

  • Move your mouse cursor over to the edges of the keyboard.

  • Hold down the left-hand cursor button. Drag the cursor in or out to alter the size of the keyboard.
