How to Cancel an Ad on Craigslist

Craigslist is a free website that allows Internet users to post ads for services, products or events. Anyone who signs up with Craigslist can post an ad. If you're using Craiglist to advertise a product or service, the response rate might surprise you. If you've sold your item or service and want to shut your ad down, you can cancel it by signing into your Craigslist account.

Instructions

1. Open your Web browser.

2. Navigate to the Craigslist homepage.

3. Click "My account."

4. Type your email address and password in the appropriate boxes. Click "Log In."

5. Click the ad you want to delete. All ads you have posted are displayed on your account page.

6. Click "Delete this Posting."
