Facebook is more than just the message board that it started out to be. Outside companies are constantly creating games and apps for Facebook users to try, each one vying for users' attention and time. Gift apps are a relative newcomer to the Facebook interface. You can log onto the app just like you do any other Facebook game or activity and choose a flower to send to anyone on your friends list. The more flowers you send, the bigger variety you'll have when you want to choose the next batch. For acquaintance birthdays or just to simply say hello, flowers on Facebook are a pleasant little surprise to send people on your list.
Go to your Facebook page and do an internal search for "Send Flowers on Facebook." You will get a popup asking for your permission to send information, just like with any Facebook app.
Click on the link to agree to send information and you will be taken to the Send Flowers on Facebook page. Look down toward the middle of the page to see the variety of flowers from which you can choose.
Click the radio button next to the flowers that you choose. Note that you will only have six different flowers available right now. Scroll down to the list of your Facebook friends.
Click the box next to the name of everyone you want to send this particular flower choice. The names will appear in the box at the bottom of the list.
Click the "Send Flowers Request" button below the list of names. Click "Send" on the preview popup. Your flowers have now been sent. As with most Facebook apps, you will get a popup giving you the option to publish this fact to your wall or to skip. Click on the appropriate button and you have finished with the app for now.
