How to Reset Microsoft Word Settings

Sometimes the Microsoft Word application becomes corrupted, causing its options and settings to malfunction; sometimes you may simply wish to reset your Microsoft Word settings to their default state. In either case, you can reset Word to default by deleting the registry keys associated with Word's settings and options. Once the appropriate registry keys are removed, Word will automatically re-create the registry keys with default settings the next time you run the application.
