Instructions

    • 1

Cut out two 8-by-4-inch rectangles from your cardboard. Cut out four 8-by-4-inch rectangles from your Cheetos bags. Place each of the cardboard rectangles between two of the Cheetos rectangles. The graphics from your Cheetos bags should be facing out on both sides. Sew along the edges of the rectangles, sandwiching the cardboard rectangles between the Cheetos bag rectangles.

    • 2

Fold each of the two rectangles in half, creating a 4-by-4-inch square, and make a firm crease on the fold. Unfold the two rectangles and stack one on top of the other, taking care to line the edges up. The creases of the two rectangles should be folded in the same direction, allowing the rectangles to lay on top of one another easily.

    • 3

Sew the two rectangles together along the bottom 8-inch edge. Sew the two rectangles together along both the left and right 4-inch edges as well, creating the section of your wallet that is covered in Cheetos graphics on all sides and will hold bills.

    • 4

Cut out one 4-by-3-inch rectangle from your cardboard. Cut out two 4-by-3-inch rectangles from your Cheetos bags. Place the cardboard rectangle between the two Cheetos rectangles with the Cheetos graphics facing out on both sides. Sew along the edges, sandwiching the cardboard rectangle between the Cheetos bags rectangles. This sandwiched rectangle will create the first pocket for bank cards in your Cheetos wallet.

    • 5

Place the 4-by-3-inch bank card rectangle on top of the left side of the 8-by-4-inch bill section of your wallet. Line up the bottom edges. The right edge of the 4-by-3-inch bank card rectangle should line up exactly with the center fold of your Cheetos wallet.

    • 6

Sew the bottom, left, and right edges of the 4-by-3-inch bank card rectangle onto the 8-by-4-inch bill section of your wallet.

    • 7

Cut out one 4-by-2-inch rectangle from your cardboard. Cut out two 4-by-2-inch rectangles from your Cheetos bags. Place the cardboard rectangle between the two Cheetos rectangles with the Cheetos graphics facing out on both sides. Sew along the edges, sandwiching the cardboard rectangle between the Cheetos bags rectangles. This sandwiched rectangle will create the second pocket for bank cards.

    • 8

Place this second bank card rectangle on top of the 4-by-3-inch rectangle, or first bank card pocket. Take care to line up the bottom edges. The right edge of the second bank card pocket, or 4-by-2-inch rectangle, should be lined up exactly with the center fold of your Cheetos wallet.

    • 9

Sew the bottom, left and right edges of the second bank card pocket, or 4-by-2-inch rectangle, onto the 4-by-3-inch first bank pocket rectangle and the 8-by-4-inch bill portion of your Cheetos wallet.

    • 10

Cut out a 4-by-9-inch rectangle from your cardboard. Cut out two 4-by-9-inch rectangles from your Cheetos bags. Place the cardboard rectangle between the two Cheetos rectangles with the Cheetos graphics facing out on both sides. Sew along the edges, sandwiching the cardboard rectangle between the Cheetos bags rectangles. This sandwiched rectangle will create the change pocket for your Cheetos wallet.

    • 11

Fold the change pocket cardboard in thirds, creating a trifold 4-by-3-inch rectangle. Crease the folds. Unfold the change pocket rectangle and place in down on your work space. Position the rectangle so that one of the 4-inch edges is on the bottom.

    • 12

Fold the bottom third of the change pocket rectangle up. This fold will create a 4-by-6-inch rectangle. Sew along the edge of the bottom 4 inches of the change pocket rectangle. Sew along the edge of the bottom three inches of the left and right edges. You have created the pocket portion of your Cheetos change pocket. Fold the top third of the change pocket rectangle down. You have created an opening flap for your Cheetos wallet change pocket.

    • 13

Place the Cheetos change pocket on the right side of the 8-by-4-inch bill portion of your Cheetos wallet. Line up the bottom edges carefully. The left edge of your Cheetos change pocket should be lined up exactly with the center fold of your Cheetos wallet.

    • 14

Sew the bottom, left, and right edges of the Cheetos change pocket onto the 8-by-4-inch bill portion of your Cheetos wallet. Be careful not to sew the opening flap of your Cheetos change pocket closed. Leave the opening flap up, in the open position, when sewing.
