The Ricoh 1515 is a digital photocopier that can be configured to serve as a stand-alone copier, network printer, fax machine and scanner. When configured with the optional print/scan board, the 1515 is able to print and scan black-and-white pages at 15 pages per minute. The unit also has an optional automatic document feeder that can hold up to 50 sheets of letter-size paper. The 1515 was replaced by the Aficio 171 in 2009, but the functionality and operations remain the same.

Open the front panel of the machine. The toner bottle locking lever, which is blue plastic, is directly in the middle of the machine.

Release the toner lever by pulling it upward.

Push in the lever positioned on the side of the toner bottle holder.

Remove the empty toner bottle by pulling it toward you. If the bottle does not move, the side lever is not released. Press the lever toward the toner bottle again if necessary.

Shake the new toner bottle to make sure that the toner is not adhering to the sides of the bottle. Twist off the cover.

Slide the new toner bottle into the machine with the bottle's top facing you. The bottle should slide into place easily. If it doesn't, make sure that the bottle is correctly positioned and try again.

Lock the lever back into place by pressing it down. The toner bottle will click into place.
