How to Copy a Signature in Photoshop Elements

Marketed as a pared down, cheaper version of the more robust Adobe Photoshop line of software, Adobe Photoshop Elements is a basic graphics editor that allows you to make edits to a picture or create very basic graphic designs. If you have a signature that you want to use on any photo or image you create, copying the signature can spare you from having to completely recreate the signature from scratch.

  • Click on the "Edit" menu in Photoshop, then click on the "Copy Tool."

  • Click and drag the tool across the part of the image where the signature you want to copy is located.

  • Click on "Edit" again, and click "Copy."

  • Click "Edit," then "Paste" to create a copy of the signature.

  • Click and drag the signature to the area you want to place it in.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not attempt to replicate someone else's signature.
