How to Make Lightning in Powerpoint

Save

If you are doing a presentation on lightning for a school or work group, then you may want to use Microsoft's PowerPoint presentation program to organize your information. Microsoft PowerPoint allows you to embed audio, photos and videos so that your viewers can get close to the full effects of a lightning storm.

  • Open a new PowerPoint presentation by clicking on your Start menu, "All Programs," "Microsoft Office," and finally "Microsoft Office PowerPoint." A new presentation will open up on your screen.

  • Click on the "Insert" tab on your top toolbar, followed by the "Clipart" icon. Type "lightning" in the search box, followed by the "Go" button. Double-click on the photo of lightning of your choice. It will appear on your slide presentation.

  • Insert an audio clip of lightning that you have saved on your desktop by clicking on the "Sound" button on the "Insert" tab. Double-click on the file from the file menu choices. The file will load onto your slide.

  • Insert a video of lightning that you have saved on your desktop. Click on the "Movie" icon. Double-click the file from the selections listed on the menu. The file will drop into your slide.
