How to Get a Corphish in "Pokemon HeartGold"
In the "Pokemon" series, Corphish is an aggressive Water-type Pokemon that resembles a crayfish. Although it is weak to Grass- and Electric-type attacks, Corphish has partial resistance to Steel-, Fire-, Water- and Ice-type moves; in addition, it learns a handful of powerful attacks, including Guillotine, which can knock out an opponent in one hit. To add this Pokemon to your team in "Pokemon SoulSilver," you'll need to unlock the Safari Zone and customize its landscape. Under certain conditions, Corphish will appear on Rocky Beach.

Tips & Warnings
No matter how many times you try, you cannot find a Corphish with an Old Rod or Good Rod. Collect the Super Rod by visiting the Fishing Guru on Route 12 in the Kanto region.
At Level 30, Corphish will evolve into Crawdaunt, a Water- and Dark-type Pokemon with stronger abilities.
