Instructions

    • 1

Brush the hair thoroughly to remove all snarls and tangles. If the hair has static or has fly-away ends, spritz lightly with water.

    • 2

Start brushing at the middle of the forehead. Brush with the brush in one hand, and brush the hair into the other hand. Continue brushing until all the hair is gathered into one hand.

    • 3

Set the brush aside and spread the ponytail elastic open with the fingers of the free hand. Transfer the hair into the hand with the ponytail elastic and pull the hair through the elastic.

    • 4

Turn the elastic so it creates an X on top of the gathered hair and pull the hair through that loop. Continue this process until the ponytail elastic is tight enough to hold the ponytail in place.

    • 5

Separate a small strand of hair from the bottom of the ponytail and wrap that strand of hair around the ponytail, hiding the ponytail elastic. Secure that strand of hair by sticking a bobby-pin into the ponytail elastic, catching the end of the strand of hair.
