How to Uninstall Media Player Plugins
In addition to simply playing music and video, Windows Media Player can be equipped with a variety of plugins to enhance its capabilities. These can include anything from graphical upgrades to enhanced audio. These plugins are simple to install, and can be removed through the Media Player program.

Launch Windows Media Player.

Click on the "Now Playing" tab at the top of the Media Player screen, then select "Plugins" and "Options" from the drop-down menu bar. This will open a dialog box.

Click the "Plugins" tab to reveal a list of plugins currently installed in Windows Media Player.

Select the desired plugin category in the left pane, then select the plugin you wish to remove in the right pane.

Click the "Remove" button to uninstall the plugin from Windows Media Player.
