Instructions

    • 1

Make sure the piercing has healed completely before you remove it on your own. This is the best way to avoid an infection of the area.

    • 2

Wash your hands before you begin. Pay close attention to dirt between your fingers and under your nails. Then put on a pair of rubber gloves for an extra level of sterilization.

    • 3

Gently unscrew the round backing of the nose ring. You shouldn't have to tug or pull at it to get it loose.

    • 4

Slide the nose ring out by pulling on the end that still has a stud on it. That way, the end without the backing can slide right through the pierced hole for easy removal.
