How to Make Funny Pictures of People
If you like to amuse people and you have a talent for drawing, you might want to start drawing funny pictures of people. You can draw people from photographs or from memory, or ask people to pose for you, starting with family members, friends and neighbors, and then branching out to strangers as you develop your talent. The humor in your pictures may come from exaggerating physical characteristics of the people, or by presenting them in silly situations, or a combination of the two.

1
Sketch the person's head or draw the entire body lightly in pencil.
-
2
Look at the body parts and see which ones are suitable for exaggeration. For example, if the person is slightly fat, draw an enormous stomach. If the person has a large nose, draw it so that it is almost as large as the head itself. You can exaggerate any aspect for comic effect: draw messy hair, big eyes or tiny ears, or add blemishes, warts and zits. Use crayons or pens to draw over the roughed-in pencil lines you made in your preliminary sketch.

3
Draw a wacky facial expression. Make crossed eyes, or draw an enormous toothy grin with the person's tongue hanging out. Arch the eyebrows to make the person look extremely surprised, or puff out the cheeks. Draw the lips extremely pursed, as though the person just bit into a lemon.
-
4
Draw the person doing something funny or unexpected, such as a burly construction worker standing on tip toes while wearing a delicate pink tutu, or a woman feeding worms to her infant like a bird, or an obese person sitting in a pool filled with hamburgers, holding a burger in each fist.
