What's better than having clean pores? Having clean pores while spending less money at the drugstore! For a fraction of the price of store-bought pore cleaning strips, you can make your own.

Things You'll Need

  • Unflavored gelatin
  • Water
  • Microwaveable cup
  • Measuring spoons
  • Microwave
  • Cotton swab
  • Milk (optional)

Pour 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin powder (about 1 tablespoon) into a microwaveable cup. Add 1 tablespoon of water. Stir together until smooth. Heat the mixture in the microwave for 10 seconds. Stir it again.

With the cotton swab, spread the mixture over your nose or other places where you have blackheads. Let it dry for about 10 minutes.

Using your fingers, gently peel the dried gelatin off your face. Rinse your face with warm water.

Tips & Warnings

  • For even smoother skin, substitute milk for the water.
  • For best results, use after showering when your pores are open.
  • Use caution when removing the cup from the microwave and applying the gelatin to your face, as it may be hot.
