How to Add Your Web Page to MetaCrawler

MetaCrawler is a metasearch engine that provides its searchers with the combined results of some of the top search engines in the Internet search industry. MetaCrawler gets its search content from search engines Google, Yahoo and Bing.com. MetaCrawler is a registered trademark of InfoSpace, Inc.; they developed MetaCrawler in 1994. If you would like to see your Web page and website show up in the MetaCrawler search engine, you first need to submit it to the top three search engines.

      Submit your website to Yahoo. Open your Web browser and access the Yahoo "Site Explorer" website (see Resources). Enter your Web address in the submission text box and press "Submit URL."

      Submit your website to Google. Open your Web browser and go to Google (see Resources). Click "About Google" under the search box. Click the "Add Your URL" link under "Web Category." Input your Web address in the "URL" textbox; add a comment in the "Comment" box. Enter the Captcha code and then click "Submit."

      Submit your website to Bing.com. Go to the Bing.com webmaster website (see Resources). Type the Captcha characters into the text box and enter your Web address in the submission box. Click "Submit URL."
