Traffic tickets don't have to interfere with your schedule.

The most convenient way to make a traffic court payment is through the Internet. Whether it's for parking in a no parking zone, speeding or any other violation where you receive only a ticket, it's possible to conveniently pay the fine without ever having to commute. You must pay your ticket by the due date posted on the ticket, which is usually 30 days after issuance, or be obligated to stand before a judge and explain your violation.

Pay by credit card or debit card when prompted. Enter the information from your card as requested and the amount of your payment and press the submitting button. This button may be labeled "Make Payment", "Make Payment Now" or "Submit".

Wait for confirmation. When your payment has been accepted you will receive a confirmation number. If you were asked to enter your e-mail address, you should also check your e-mail for a confirmation.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you cannot find any links concerning traffic violation payments contact the office by the phone number printed on your ticket. Ask if online payments for minor traffic violations are available. A payment over the phone may also be possible.

  • Always logon to official city and state sites. If you're not certain about whether you're on a legitimate site call the phone number printed on your ticket. If someone contacts you and asks for a traffic ticket payment, hang up and contact the courts from your end. That type of call may be a scam.
